Nguyen Trong Hanh, deputy director of the HCMC Tax Department, acknowledged the illegal activity in a dialogue yesterday between the department and the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Vietnam.

The General Department of Taxation under the Ministry of Finance has made a petition to the National Assembly (NA) on supplementing the advance pricing agreement (APA) mechanism to prevent transfer pricing at FDI enterprises.

The findings is the result of the Government Inspectorate’s inspection of the observance of the law on taxes in the export processing zones and export processing enterprises in Hanoi, HCM City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai.
